COG Design Studio designed the 2023 New Collection lighting products in collaboration with lighting brand Bonakia.
It is a lighting project that constructs a basic form of lighting through repetition, transformation, and combination of geometric shapes, and gives subtle formative beauty to flat shapes through three-dimensional changes in direction and bending.

It explores the basic structure of lighting with simple geometric figures and through materials and light gives it an emotional aesthetic to a simple form.

- Experiment on the shape of light through acrylic material and surface treatment.
Stella lighting is made of acrylic material with a triangular intaglio shape. It is an attempt to see what the sensibility of light will be like when light is transmitted to a detailed intaglio pattern. The light emitted by the Stella light can express the appearance of light forming on the waves due to the characteristic intaglio pattern. On the waves, the light becomes a star and dissipates.
- Bonakia and COG began selling collaborative products to the public at the 2023 Seoul Living Design Fair.
- Bonakia and cogdesignstudio presented the 2023 New Collection at the 2022 Home Table Deco Fair.
The recently introduced COG lighting project is a collaboration with BONAKIA, a new brand of Faro Lighting in Euljiro. Euljiro is the stage of the oldest lighting industry in Seoul, and COG wanted to inject new vitality into it by paying tribute to the industry.
