Empathic Diorama workshop engaged people to create a collective framework for reflecting personal experiences. During these workshops people shared their memories and sensations, and then reified those together in a playful way, using a small replica of a diorama with clay objects.
Exploring the abilities of memory and imagination for spatial practice, we sought to rethink the mass-culture representation of urban imagery and expand its expressivity to unveil human agency as opposed to space representation conceived by dominant groups.
