MOOC (masive open online course) of contemporary design on the fresh new platform iversity based in Berlin.
Probably the biggest design course ever existed. More than 30 000 people enrolled.
The winning video proposal for the contest "MOOC Production Fellowship" by Iversity and Stifterverband fuer die Deutsche Wissenschaft. Design 101 (or design basics) is an international experiment between design and new and social media. The course started in October 2013.
Every day a portion of design knowledge was delivered to students in a form of double-sided animated video-postcards.
101 animated video lectures were made.
Each of 101 video-postcards was acompained with a letter containing references & daily task to do. More, there was a weekly quiz collected in fancy quiz cards & a small encyclopedia of references.

Students were interracting on social media (facebook, twitter, instagram) forming a vivid community. On the official facebook page there were freshly updated informations & selected works of students.

After the end of the course, there was an exhibition of selected works of participants in Berlin Design tranfer.
