Seaweed sap being environmentally benign and safe for the health of animals and humans, can be considered as a potential organic farm input to be used under organic and integrated nutrient management farming. Foliar application of K-sap influences the number and dry weight of root nodules at flowering. Application of seaweed saps also enhances the quality of grains in terms of protein, carbohydrate, P and K content resulting in improving crop quality.The increase in yield was attributed to increase in grain weight.
