This illustration of a Campbell’s Soup can was completely rendered in Illustrator. What at first seems to be an average photograph of a can of soup instantly becomes an illustration that is so detailed it tricks your eyes into believing it is an actual photograph.
When first looking at the can of soup the illustration looks almost as if it was just a picture taken of the actual can. But when put into outline mode, one can easily distinguish the amount of detail truly found within the piece.
The left image is the original photo taken, while the right image is the recreation. When looking at both images, one can easily see how the flaws (such as dents, labels, and tears from processing) can be edited out to make the image seem clearer and more professional when used in an advertisement.
