Perspexian Exoskeleton

// Project Bio

Based upon the schematic blueprints I created, these are sculptural representation of what I call perspexian shells. Despite the risks involved, my adventures to the thermal vents on the seabed eventually paid off. I returned with a collection of exoskeleton samples that were created by the notorious bosch vent ridge.
The perspexian molecules are constantly being softened and hardened with the changing temperatures. When pressure pockets in the thermal vents create vortical currents, the perspexian molecules begin to harden once they are expelled away from the high temperature sea water.
