a visit to a place in limbo. Zatyšiai quarry is located about 84km from Vilnius. it is very strange to walk through an unending man-made desert. boots full of sand, hair full of wind and the sun just never stops chasing you. once it was used to rob the earth of it's resources. the nature is winning as all these man-made toys are now gathering rust in the sun. some locals go for a swim when the weather allows it. a bizarre view is to see something beautiful tainted by so much rust. i guess it had to be documented...
