EXAMINING THE WORLD'S PRIORITIES

The reality of today's world is that most of our money and resources are being spent on commodities instead of necessities. We have lost perception and understanding of the difference between the two. This campaign features a series of thought provoking comparisons illustrated in a simple and approachable way that can be understood by everyone; it is an attempt to raise awareness on the consumption patterns that have become a routine in our lives. To change them a massive cultural overhaul is required. This is just a start.
NARCOTIC DRUGS VS. BASIC HEALTH
$400,000,000,000 spent annually in narcotic drugs in the world vs. $13,000,000,000 needed to provide basic health to the entire world.
ALCOHOLIC DRINKS VS. DRINKING WATER
$105,000,000,000 spent annually in alcoholic drinks in Europe vs. $9,000,000,000 needed to provide clean drinking water to the entire world.
CIGARETTES VS. ERADICATION OF HUNGER
$50,000,000,000 spent annually in cigarettes in Europe vs. $19,000,000,000 needed to eliminate hunger and malnutrition worldwide.
PET FOODS VS. BASIC EDUCATION
$17,000,000,000 spent annually in pet foods in Europe and the U.S. alone vs. $6,000,000,000 needed to provide basic education worldwide.
MILITARY VS. UNIVERSAL LITERACY
$780,000,000,000 spent annually in military in the world vs. $5,000,000,000 needed to achieve universal literacy.
