This is the logo design for a local contracting company named Whitman Contractors. They wanted a fresh new look and fresh visual identity. This new logo will be used on many company items such as: clothing, hats, coffee mugs, stickers, stationery, and truck decals.
The idea behind the logo is a W coming together forming a unit. Inside each W is an abstract representation of shaking hands and making contracts. The W’s all coming together is reflective of the way contractors and clients collaborate. The typeface is a bold geometric italic, representing strength and moving forward. There are many variations on orientation to accomodate a variety of different printed materials.
