I made this artcover for All You Need Is Love by The Beatles using the well-known photography V-J Day in Times Square by Alfred Eisenstaedt in New York when U.S won over Japan in 1945.

 

I chose this photo because, in my opinion, it represents the love, even after knowing the true story. At this time, everybody was happy and euphoric that the war was finally over and the song was wrote for love but also against war, for peace.

 

I used a pop-art effect on the two people kissing only to only show them. This is full of colors, and each have an explanation, red is for love and is only present on the faces, hands and hair, blue is for the man and green for the woman.

 

I chose a vinyl mock-up to be more realistic.
