Stop using Leica M8 for nearly 2 years because very enjoy "Back to film" with film camera especially an Hasselblad the big film made me forget digital until the day that the good lab here in my country stop develop and process E6 the slide film. For me the slide film is only the method that made film photography can live together with Digital camear. With no capability to process the slide film made me think to come to Digital again but this time I started with Nikon Df the dslr camera with quite unhappy with the outcome when compared to the slides photos recently taken, then this Leica M 240 is the decision I made and now I would say happy with it like as "meet an old friend" again and this time more capability to taking good picture than even.

With small size but good image quality on both the camera and it lens, many time come back home with some really nice and distinguished pictures, like the bike above, took for testing and select one of Summilux 50 pre-asph from the camera shop. Yes this pre-asph got known name of wonderful for Black&White.

 

 

With fast and sharpness cover to the outter zone of this lens, Summilux 50mm f1.4 ASPH the current Summilux 50mm, I have only a few second before the group of people follow behind me into this small dim temple. To ensure got no shaking, I have to open wide at f1.4 for fastest speed as possible and only 2 shots can made. Would say with the new summilux the outter zone still good enough even the far edge corner.

 

 

 

Took this picture today with color profile Adobe RGB setting in the camera, look at most area of the picture the color is quite dull over, but the subject that I did focus in the middle is so vivid until it distinguished over the rest of the picture.

 

 

To assure that this Leica M240 is colorful one with this bright colorful picture the same color profile as previous picture, so nearly can say that it closed to Ektrachrom colorful.

 

 

 

Enough for color issue, just post this to show how good the one of the best bokeh (out of focus behavier) it render very very smooth blur out of focus zone here on this picture.
