For my Interactive Storytelling class this semester, I was instructed to storyboard and design an app for a very specific target audience. The app needed to be wireframed and designed on Adobe Xd, and it needed to work. We could only use two colors aside from black and white for the color palette, and I decided to step outside of my design comfort zone and try something really bright and bold. 

The target audience for this app is old souls and hopeless romantics. Since the experience focuses on romantic comedies throughout time, I wanted to target people like me who love retro and nostalgic movies, specifically in the rom-com genre. I believe this app will help movie lovers save time picking a movie to watch, and will eliminate the dreadful process of scrolling on streaming services to find the best movie, because they are all right here! It also gives the film rating and where to stream.

The Rom Com Time Machine was created to help romantic comedy lovers pick movies to watch with ease. It has a loading page paying homage to one of the most iconic time travel movies, Back to the Future. When you click the, "Let's Explore!" button, it reveals a menu of decade selections from 1970's to 2010's. The user can explore the top 9 rom-coms from the decade, and an overview of information about it. They can also click the "More Info" button to see more information on each title.

After clicking on a decade button on the main menu, you will be directed to that decade's movie selections. This page is a horizontal scroll where it tells the title, rating, and year the movie was released.
