Something Old, Something New was a final project I did for my Digital Image class.
The assignment was to create 4 digital collages while focusing on a method we wanted to explore further. I decided to create collages by incorporating emulsion lifts with my own photography.
An emulsion lift is a process of removing the photographic emulsion from an instant print, like a polaroid picture. I found old polaroid's at an antique store and experimented with the process of making lifts. After, I scanned them in and added my own photography to create these collages.
