Museum of Design
Environmental Design
Starting with Tado Ando's Pulitzer Museum I was given the task of creating the identity for a Museum of Design. The architects work is defined by his stark, minimalistic buildings and the ever present holes in their concrete walls. Taking this into account I created a collateral and environmental signage package to represent and convey the feel of the building as well as the museum's identity. The collateral package included the museum staff and its design lab. Depending on the part of museum, the logo moves around changing the design slightly. Even so, the collateral package remains cohesive while giving each department a recognizable identity. The signage reflects the same changes in departments.
