Idea and concept
Attracted by the unexpected feeling of suddenly opening space, standing on the shoulder of the slope, offered a view of the opposite landscape including Kahlenberg and Leopoldsberg to us. A by the groups of trees “random” resulting viewpoint is designed as a cantilevered platform. The copy of the opposite landscape of hills is, in the form of, looming on the horizon, silhouette in the foreground. Thereby these “Places of lingering” achieve targeted expression and the throughout existing environment, as well as the, by a slightly exposed location of the platform, resulting sense of space, should be addressed.
