POSTER GIG 80'S CLASSIC ROCK BANDS
This illustration was a part of a creative class, lectured by Amaury Filho, in which each student would make a gig poster inpired by an 80's rock band. I choose Twisted Sisters, since I've found them to be quite interesting charachters to work with.
THE PROCESS
After listening to their's 80's album "Stay Hungry" I perceived an aspect about them that is about going against the status quo, being rebels. So a scene where they break everything inside a big corp building was conceptualized.
Style references from old school anime.
References of environment, background characters and rebellions. And, I started to put it on paper!
FINAL RESULT
And finally, the result! A few parts were altered, since the sketch had many details in the background that were stealing attention from the most important parts of the composition. A bit of empty spaces are also important to relax the gaze.
