World of Stamps gallery.

Gems of the American Philately gallery.
"GEMS" is lit by a light box inside the wall.

The thin white guilloché pattern is direct printed to second surface of the case glass with white ink.
The stamps and envelopes are mounted to a block of 3Form acrylic, object labels are silk screened.

Highly light-sensitive artifacts require case lighting to be triggered by motion sensors. The main story panels are direct printed with white ink to thin metal painted panels, and then affixed to curved walls.

Glass panels above and below cases are engraved first surface, and backed by teal painted panels. There's a lightbox just behind the glowing titles, which are masked out from the painted panel. The engraving on top glass panels fades towards the titles. Huge thanks to D&P for extensive mock ups to get these babies just perfect!

Mail Matters gallery.
Text is silk screened to a painted acrylic panel. The images are mounted second surface to the masked out areas, creating a shadow box effect.

Lots of coordination of seams, cases, sliding doors, hidden cases with interior lighting, silk screens, second surface lambda prints, dimensional letters, and applied graphic panels. And can we make the whole panel glow please? Also–how to make a fabricator hate you.

Two passes of printing on faux leather to create the look of distressed luggage for these free-standing cases.

Stamps Around The World gallery.
Overhead graphics are direct printed to acrylic.

The dimensional letters in this gallery are made from bamboo wood with burnt edges and coordinate with the wood used in the gallery.

The key graphic is first surface direct print using two hits–white, and then the color. It is backed with an opaque lambda print. Stamp graphics surrounding the pull-out frames are direct printed to acrylic, and backed with a lambda print on the second surface that has a slight linen texture print.

One of many many pull-out frame graphics. Pull-out frames co-designed and manufactured by out-of-this-world firm Goppion: http://www.goppion.com

Direct print + white first surface on transparent acrylic, translucent film applied second surface for a sanded glass effect. Also a good shot of bamboo dimensional letters. Metal brackets are painted with Matthews automotive paints.

National Stamp Collection gallery.
Bad photo of the beautiful 1" thick 3Form artifact platforms. All object labels are silk screened.

In addition to gallery space, we designed 800 panels for pull out frames, that showcased 20,000 philatelic objects. Below are examples of some panels from National Stamp Collection.
