'Generate awareness and build association to amplify your game growth'

Campaign imagery designed for the Facebook Gaming Awareness and Association Hub. Imagery was used in campaign ads (static and animated) as well as for the hub itself. With this imagery we really tried to convey a diverse audience of new players and creators in a futuristic landscape. Certain icons were purposely repeated throughout the imagery to back up the messaging of:

'Association is often first established visually through ad creative. This can create a strong visual association by integrating your game’s visual identity into direct response ads'.
RMG Imagery Refresh

During my time at Facebook Gaming we went through a couple of brand refreshes which meant that some design assets such as decks, one sheeters and playbooks had to be updated to fit the current brand look and feel. While our original brand guidelines were a bit more flat and restrictive in terms of illustration, our latest guidelines over the last year allowed me the creative freedom to put together some 3D assets for our sports centric RMG assets.

This latest brand update also had a more candid photographic art direction which brought a lot of life to the brand. I loved this new direction as it is much more interactive and allowed us showcase real everyday people, as opposed to the typical corporate 'man in business suit looking at computer'.
BIG Festival (Best International Games Festival)

This event has be held since 2012 in Brazil and is the most important games festival and business forum in Latin America.

On top of showcasing the most innovative games in the world, the event is also the most important meeting point for those who want to have a deep understanding of games, with lectures, workshops, keynotes and the biggest games business forum in Latin America.

In 2021 the festival couldn't be held in person due to covid restrictions which BIG Festival saw as an opportunity to hold something unique and creative online instead. The result was an online virtual world where people from the event could speak to each other and explore.

I worked with the vendor to create Facebook Gamings 'Virtual Booth' seen above. This was such a unique opportunity to work on and I really enjoyed putting it together with the BIG staff.
During my time working for the Facebook Gaming GBM team I got the chance to work on a variety of different projects and campaigns across the board which really allowed me to explore not only the different avenues of the gaming world but also to collaborate with diverse audiences such as campaigns focused on supporting the LGBTIQA+ gaming community and gaming events throughout the whole world.

My team whom I worked with everyday, the Hogarth Creative studio (who were assigned to the FBG GBM team), really pushed for each other to learn and grow in a very welcoming and friendly environment in terms of design skill and just general knowledge of the industry.
