The world is wrapped in winter's kiss, As snowflakes gently drift and twist, They dance and twirl in the icy breeze, A sight that brings us all such ease.
The ground below is blanketed, With snow so soft and pure and yet, Beneath the frozen crust so deep, Lies dormant life that's sound asleep.
The winter sun shines bright and low, Its warmth is felt with just a glow, The world is hushed, so still and calm, As winter's spell enchants us all.
So let us revel in this time, Of winter's beauty so sublime, For soon enough the snow will melt, And life will burst forth, all green and felt.
The trees stand tall, all dressed in white, Their branches reaching for the light, The air is crisp, the sky so clear, The perfect time of year.
