GENESIS NFT DROP

BRINGING OWNERSHIP TO STREET ART
KIWIE 1001 is a unique concept that brings ownership to Street Art through Blockchain technology. Each artwork starts with a real-life painting on a wall somewhere in the world and then is minted on the blockchain together with its coordinates as an NFT, allowing anyone to become an owner of a non-movable street-art artwork.
Genesis collection was created from previously painted street artworks and launched on the 13th of April, 2021
The Gray Rainbow mural was painted back in the year 2013 and was officially finished on the 13th of April. This artwork was the first spray-painted street art mural in Riga, instantly becoming the biggest street artwork in the country. This mural was part of the Kiwie Solo Exhibition sequence that was held in 5 different countries at the same time - Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Germany, and France. It took approximately 250 spray-paint cans and 8 full days to finish this artwork. On some days, the temperature dropped to freezing -13 degrees Celsius. Owning this artwork means owning a part of Latvia's Street Art history. Artwork size 22m x 14m.
Hiding under a tree, this piece brings bright vibes to the neighbourhood. The artwork is located in a quiet area and is visible from the main road nearby. Excellent choice for someone who wants to keep their artwork away from too much attention. Painted with the permission issued by citizens of Riga. Artwork size 2m x 1.8m.
Not feeling so lucky lately? Get yourself a private guardian against bad demons. This baby will protect you wherever you go. Painted in October 2019, Joshua District, Bali, between some rice fields that are protecting the artwork from harmful activities. Artwork size 2m x 1.8m.
If, for some reason, your sparkle is down and you are trying to find that extra heat, this piece might be for you. The artwork can be found in a very visible location in the heart of Riga city. Thousands of people greet this coal every day and are wondering how it got there and why. This piece of artwork was painted to bring awareness about unspoken suicide problems amongst teenagers. The project was managed in collaboration with the OGLE movement — Mental Health Organisation located in Latvia that helps and educates society on how to deal with depression and suicidal thoughts. Painted in August 2020 with permission from the owner of the building. Artwork size 3m x 2.5m.
Nothing is forever, but this artwork seems to be on a mission of its own. Despite being painted back in October 2018, it still looks like it was painted yesterday. That’s probably because of the spongy brick wall — paint acts like tattoo ink, effortlessly holding stronger on the surface. This artwork is in a very visible location in the Baltic Triangle area where thousands of people see it every day and has become one of the favourite insta-pic locations by tourists. If good vibes are what you’re searching for, this one's for you. Fun fact — while Kiwie was painting it, an unknown paparazzi was secretly documenting the whole process, far away across the road. Artwork size 2m x 1.8m.
One of few street art murals in Riga city. The artwork was painted in collaboration with OGLE Movement and Latvian Culture College in August 2020. The coal placed in front of the Kiwie monster, creates a shadow on the wall, symbolising the huge hidden potential of an individual, that could be the size of a building. "With this artwork I wanted to inspire and remind anyone that in each of us lies an enormous potential, but because of everyday struggles, we tend not to see it and think other people are more worthy to be bigger and better. No matter where you live... acting on just one idea is enough to make a change. Literally, one idea holds the potential to change your life for the better." - Kiwie. It took 3 full days to finish this painting. Approx artwork size 22m x 10m.
