Description: 

The project aimed to develop the area of darb al labbana in Old Cairo and by exposing a new layer of urban fabric to introduce a cultural center to serve the citizens of darb al labbana and the whole city, the project is designed to cope and be harmonious with the historical context and the old existing historical buildings inside the land area to conserve  the site’s identity.

Concept:

Design a cultural center that reflecting the urban fabric of the historical context by following the site’s axis and grids to generate the main project spine and the openspaces of the project.
