Signage - USF Lagoa
2017
This signage project accomplished for a Healthcare Center unit in Matosinhos, more specifically the Unidade de Saúde Familiar Lagoa (USFL) comes within the scope of my Master's dissertation. The current USFL signage is not the clearest or most functional, which results in the disorientation of users that interferes with the course of medical appointments and other professional activities, systematically during the working day.
The new project presented increases the updating of the signs, simplification, coherence, organization of spaces, and a signage system through color, corresponding each area of the USFL to a color. Aerial plaques (suspended from the ceiling), identification plaques for the medical offices, and identification plaques for the remaining spaces were prepared, as also other details considered relevant for better orientation and well-being at USF Lagoa. The material selected for the project was acrylic.
