The objective was to optimized the industrial techniques applied to aluminium sheet for a design with little material and minimum thicknesses. The seat incorporates a cross break that stiffens the face of the metal and help prevent is from buckling under a load, this simple bending process offers a very cost effective way of strengthening the parts without compromising the strength of the part. The stamping hole in the center serves also as a drain and makes it easy to pick up and move comfortably.

The result is a lightweight and rigid auxiliar stool. It is made completely of anodized aluminium and it is stackable. Bikini adapts itself to any environment whether it be indoors or outdoors.
