More than 15,000 runners took part in DC's Nike Women's Half Marathon, a race which celebrates female athletes and benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's (LLS) mission to find cures for blood cancers and provide access to lifesaving treatments. We helped out on the branding with the guys at Nike and created a set of illustrated logos and icons. The primary logo mark we created is based on a strong, modern woman, the godess of victory. We also illustrated a set of smaller icons to be used on event signage, registration material and across various social media channels. Our illustrations and paterns also carried across to official Nike apparel which was only available at the event.
