As the Sound of"Lakker" (the music duo I am in With Eomac) develops its sound, so too do the Visuals that I create for the AV show.
We try to create different visual shows for each different record release.

Lakker: Struggle and Emerge AV
During the Summer of 2015, we were invited by the RE:VIVE Initiative to create a conceptual work around the theme of the Dutch and water.

The "Struggle and Emerge" AV show works by scanning lines of the Beeldendgeluid Archive Video footage and triggering processed archive sounds, based on a threshold for pixel luminescence being crossed. I build a custom scanning patch from scratch in Touchdesigner with two way communication to ableton.
