ABOUT
The apartment is located in a very beautiful building and a fantastic location. The residential complex is located at the intersection of the bay and the harbor, the city and nature, offering breathtaking views of both.
CONCEPT
Our task was to develop a design without radically changing the current finish. The interior already had a kitchen set, which we left unchanged. We harmoniously fit in new furniture and lighting fixtures, and also added some textiles to the windows.
Based on the fact that we did not want to place new lighting devices on the ceiling, we managed with Vibia Plusminus mobile lamps, which we placed only above the table and in the sofa area. In the evening, this lighting creates a subdued atmosphere, which is complemented by a beautiful view of the luminous city and the bay.

INTERIOR
We diluted the sharp corners in the room with smooth shapes, and in the decoration we used such different materials as boucle, stainless steel, rough concrete, soft wood. We used a light transparent fabric on the windows, which will shade the room a little on very hot summer days.
The master bedroom is quite functional - it has everything you need. Despite its small size, there is a large bed, a spacious closet, access to a balcony, a private bathroom with a window, a bathtub and a shower.
CONSTRUCTION & LOCATION
The AARhus residential complex was designed by the renowned architectural group Bjarke Ingels Group. The structure embraces the existing architectural heritage of Denmark's second largest city and also signals a dynamic addition to the harbor and city skyline.
As you can see from the drawing below, in most rooms there are sharp and obtuse corners, which adds some difficulties in interior design.
