I had designed two promotional items for my FAT 2 assignment, which are a die-cutting box and a puzzle, to interact with the children. According to Kenneth Clark’s four phases of visual art appreciation, I hope the children can re-examine the visual art more deeply throughout the items. They can learn the various shapes through experiencing the depth level and figure-ground phenomenon. Through these items, the children will reinterpret their visual memory that they had learned from the picture book.
