Even if you've never heard of Rick Rubin you've definitely listened to, danced to, tapped your toes to or thrown your hands in the air to at least one of the songs he's produced. Legendary doesn't really do him justice and I started listening to his podcast interviews late last year and became spellbound by his voice, calmness and thoughts on a whole myriad of things.

Legendary doesn't really do him justice and I started listening to his podcast interviews late last year and became spellbound by his voice, calmness and thoughts on a whole myriad of things.
One sentence just sounded so good he said:
'Make the art that you wish to see without worrying about what an audience may think.'
My mind went into some sort of overdrive hearing this and I said "OK mind, what would you like me to create? Just let me know and I'll see what I can do." The last 20 personal projects have all come about as a result of this one sentence and it keeps gathering pace and never in a million years did I ever think I would be putting together these kinds of projects. I'm just totally and utterly in love with the process.
The idea behind this poster is that he could take something classic like a black to white gradient and look at it another way and put his twist and stamp on it and create something truly different but not reinvent it.
