Branding - Naming - Logo - Identity - Packaging of pasta
Everybody loves pasta. Children love eating it with sausages. And more sophisticated gourmets cook pasta with Bolognese sauce, seafood and all kinds of superfoods, turning ordinary pasta into a festive and restaurant dish. Especially when it’s high-quality whole-grain pasta. Even if you keep your shape, in those rare moments when you eat pasta, they become an even greater source of festive and pleasure!
So let’s show that pasta isn’t a routine dish for lazy and busy people. It’s an exquisite base for gourmet pleasure! This is a feast which you can make every day, whenever you want!
Based on this concept and strategy the pasta brand name was born - Tastival! Taste+Festival or Festival of taste!
The Tastival pasta logo reminds fireworks of holiday lights and spinning spaghetti.
The Tastival brand color palette brings us into a summer holiday at the Mediterranean sea. And golden-yellow details on the deep blue background emphasize the premium of the brand. A friendly, slightly rounded and minimalistic font shows that too.

The golden bow-tie-shaped Farfalle pasta on the corporate blue textured cardboard reminds us of an elegant gift box with a luxury bow. There is no feast without gifts, isn’t true? So is our packaging, because the Tastival pasta is a real gift for a festival of taste!
In the same style we defeated other kinds of pasta: spiral-shaped Rotini, horn or rainbow-shaped Cornetti Rigati and shell-shaped Conchiglie Rigate:
We made a window on the side of the box so that consumers could see the product and evaluate its high quality.

The bow-tie Farfalle and horn Cornetti Rigati harmoniously fit in the promotional closing - as bow-tie for men wear and necklace for women ones. Both playful and sophisticated. These elements represent in other corporate brand stuff, such as: a promo stand, gift bag, apron, kitchen stuff, corporate car and so on.
The recognizable brand identity refers us to the pasta packaging to further connect and enhance the brand and product awareness on the retail shelves. So that’s why we don’t use any abstract and useless pattern for the Tastival.
The packaging is successfully taken as the basis for advertising banners, which even more signals an unusual and premium brand of the Tastival pasta!
