The inspiration for this project came from a decaying brick wall used to separate properties in St. Augustine. The falling brick typeface was made in Adobe illustrator.

Factoria was used as the secondary font as it matches the rigidity of the brick typeface, almost making it seem more construction like. 

The purpose of this poster is to advertise design week and its events to college students around Flagler campus. The challenges in designing this project was trying to get the type and other elements to work around the bricks without clashing with it to hard. 

The reason behind the design is to be symbolic. As each lesson and concept you learn in a skill builds up your knowledge and understanding of it, each brick is representative of something you learned building you up. This goes well with the idea of design week being something you can use to build up your skills in design. 

The events on the back each taking up a brick or two is supposed to symbolize the building up of your skills!
