BookXcess : heart of KL
The once iconic Rex Cinema in the city's charming Chinatown district of Kuala Lumpur now houses an ultra-cool BookXcess outlet. It has been designed to evoke a sense of adventure with its many secret corners and mazes. The book shelves like pigeon holes are stacked up like a multi-storey apartment. The interesting thing about the store are the different elevations that is in sync with the steps of the balcony floor of the old theatre. Old still gold. Very intelligently designed this book store is a unique symbol of creativity in Malaysia.
