Trees and bushes - In nature, they are allowed to grow as is in accordance with their species and as their natural habitat allows. Not so in our villages and cities. Here, bushes are trimmed or grow trimmed to house-high hedges. Trees are regularly clipped to keep them small, to give them a shape, or for safety reasons, to protect pedestrians from broken branches. The results are decorative trees or curious tree shapes made by human hands. You can find this beautiful or just curious. In my series "Topiary" I present these clipped and trimmed trees as curious night figures.
