Named after the Japanese word for ‘gold brocade’, Kinrande porcelain wares are extremely fine quality porcelains distinguished by the use of gold foil designs on oxidised iron-red colour. We created a limited-edition box set in English and Chinese languages, as an alternative way of presenting the 2020 exhibition catalogue, normally published in a book format. The box contains 3 parts, The Intro, The Portfolio and The Entries. For the portfolio we’ve opted to print 48 individual single pages to express the sense of uniqueness of each art piece.
