MNOD is a modular system that explores relations between Art and Design throughout its interactions with user. With MNOD user can create his own personal work of Art or use it in a unique functional way. Function implemented by user or lack of the same, defines system as an object in a domain of either Art or Design. System and its modules lack determined function or user manual, therefore its functionality is entirely user defined. During interaction with user, system questions and explores (reveals) user’s own opinion on Art, Design, his views on aesthetics, composition and balance. The system is composed of three elements that can be used individually or as a part of a system that has numerous possibilities and combinations. Form of the elements is derived from the structure of carbon allotropes (graphite, diamond and fulleren).
