Type Specimen Book - for this assignment, we had to choose our favorite typeface and make a book about it – we had to include information about the history, features, designer and some examples of where and how its incorporated. I chose Didot because I feel it signifies the classic typeface with class, elegance and beauty whilst having a minimalistic style. I tried to explore different layouts, arrangements of text, playing with opacity, and placement of grids, images, hierarchy, and most importantly, giving the pages a sense of togetherness as a book – unity.
