One of Brushwork Beast’s products is a new, innovative
paintbrush that’ll give artists a reliable, affordable,
and practical new tool for all painting needs. Having
experimented with CAD and practical knowledge of
product design, I created this paintbrush from the ground
up into a marketable product for consumers.

The “Altobrush,” or detachable paintbrush, represents Brushwork Beast’s motto,
“innovation is tradition,” clearly and remarkably! Being the first product of Brushwork
Beast and the first marketable product I have developed, it becomes the company’s
flagship product. The main drivers for this paintbrush’s creation were the practicality,
quality, and value of a paintbrush. Most paintbrushes are cumbersome, especially if an
artist wants to carry more than one. The solution for this problem is to have the brush
head detachable from the handle, making it easy to take more than one paintbrush and
less hassle. The average high-quality paintbrush set costs $20 at the low end. I did
some product sourcing for the highest-quality paintbrushes while keeping costs low. The
price of the Altobrush is $16 for a set of six brushes while maintaining a higher quality!
