I recently had the excellent fortune to collaborate on a project with Vanson Leathers out of Fall River, Massachusetts. Vanson makes world class motorcycle jackets, and has been at it for nearly 40 years. I chose one of the company's most iconic styles, had it made in a supple, deer-tanned leather- dyed a rich navy blue, and luckily secured some wild, Japanese made fabric from Brooklyn's The Hill-Side for use as as a jacket liner. The first production run was limited to 12, and sold for $888 each.
