Frankenberg is a German wine manufactured in the area of 'Churfranken on the franconian highlands in Bavaria. It is presently available in Germany, and some international (predominantly Asian) markets.
The symbol of Bavarian forest (also a state-park) is the woodpecker, so I thought a cubic woodpecker would make a nice logo, and they loved it !
