I decided to learn how to do the fan-art styled illustrations that people seem to do. In light of the recent 2014 film Lego Movie, I decided to do a scene from that. A combination between illustrator and photoshop were combined to create this. As you can see, it took a lot of time, work, and LAYERS!
Using Adobe Photoshop, I created the background first and then started working on Emmet:
