The Shredding Ceremony

The Shredding Ceremony is a Happiness Project that took place during the Pandemic. The aim of this project was to design an unusual media that can pursue two different goals.  On the one hand, it was about communicating the insights of the scientific findings that had been gained during the process and on the other, an attempt  to make a direct contribution to people’s well-being. As a final product, I designed a minimalist Paper shredder and an installation space .

THEME: As I come from the Himalayas, the colours of the exhibition space is based upon the nostalgia that gave me a sense of Happiness during the project period.

SOLUTION: BE MINDFUL ABOUT EVERY EMOTIONS, RECOGNISE IT, ACCEPT IT, RELEASE IT.

CHALLENGES: The hardest part of this project was to execute the ideas in 3D version. It was my first time using Blender so I had to learn and practise the tool side by side in order to achieve the final goals. Although the digital photography lacks a coherent proportion and symmetry, at the end I was able to communicate the message.
