Korean Medicine Blooms
Korean medicine is a traditional medicine grown naturally to the Korean Peninsula, interacting with traditional East Asian medicine. However, the level of awareness of Korean medicine is low, and the percentage of Koreans who said they do not know well is 36.4%(2020, Statistics Korea), which is relatively high.
In order for Korean medicine to play a more active role in the future era of diseases, objective data are needed to determine what Korean medicine is, where it is situated in the current world, and what its medical values are. This project is a project in which these objective data are explained in infographics based on user data from 2010 to 2020.
한의학은 동아시아의 전통 의학과 교류하며 한반도에서 자생한 전통 의학이다. 그러나, 세계적으로 한의학 인지도는 낮은 상태이며, 한국인의 경우에도 잘 모른다고 응답한 비율이 36.4%(2020, 통계청)로 비교적 높은 편이다. 한의학이 앞으로의 질병 시대에 더욱 적극적인 역할을 담당하기 위해서는 한의학이란 무엇인지, 현재 세계에서 어느 위치에 있으며 그 의학적 가치는 어떠한지 판단할 수 있는 객관적 자료가 필요하다. 본 프로젝트는 2010-2020년의 이용자 데이터를 기반으로 이러한 객관적인 자료를 인포그래픽으로 설명한 프로젝트이다.
In 'the myth of Dangun', the first founding myth of Korea, there is a story to become human by eating mu gwort and garlic. Here is a record that used garlic as a drug, and these two vegetables were for health that shaped healthy humans since ancient times. It shows Korean medicine, the traditional medicine of Korea, using garlic that our people have eaten and grown up with.
단군신화에는 곰과 호랑이가 쑥과 마늘을 먹고 인간이 되려는 이야기가 있다. 여기에는 마늘을 약물로 사용한 기록이 존재하는데, 이 두 채소는 옛부터 건강한 사람을 만드는 건강을 위한 채소였다. 한국의 민족 의학인 한의학을 우리 민족이 먹고 자란 마늘을 이용해 나타낸다.
