The Monster Fashion｜Archival Booklet
Collaboration work with Pauline Hill and Shiming Liang.
This work relates to the idea of the monstrous hybrid in that it combines the world of fashion with that of the mythical or legendary monster, it is combining the general desire and aesthetic of fashion with the repulsion and fear of the monster.
It refers to two cultural contexts. The first is the contemporary context of high fashion houses from the years 2018 - 2023, and the second is the ancient historical context of mythical and legendary monstrous creatures. The juxtaposition of these two contexts continues to align the book with the idea of the monstrous hybrid.
