Modular plants

I noticed some really cool plants during a trip to Portugal last year, I had the idea to recreate and animate them in 3D, it was also a great way to start experimenting with geometry nodes, something I wanted to to do for months.

Modular crystals

I got really interrested in crystas and how they form in nature this year, so I wanted to reproduce that with geometry nodes. This project is a great demonstration that with a really simple setup, you can create something pretty cool !

After the crystal project I started to search for new things to learn with this new tool. Something a bit more chalenging that could be useful for future projects, but also for others.

This is why I started the modular PCB project, followed by the launch of my gumroad shop with detailed versions of all my modular projects for people to play with them and learn new tricks faster than I did.

Then, I wanted to test the newly added feature : simulation nodes. It's even more interresting because it adds another level of randomness to your animation. 



Now, geometry nodes are a real part of my 3D workflow and offer me new possibilities, as well as saving me time on many projects.

In 2023, I'll try to use this tool even more and get more clients to work with me on this kind of procedural projects.
