The festival of lights symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and is a time
when people are brought together to strengthen the hand of goodwill across races and creeds.​
Especially during these trying times, we’ve seen many goodwill in communities who spread light and joy,
doing more good for each other.​
The true spirit of the festival lies in spreading the light and joy, brightening those around you.​

Because the more good we do, the brighter this world will be.​
This Deepavali, let’s plant a seed of good and spread the light, so everyone can have the brightest of celebrations.​
We tell the story of a grumpy uncle who becomes the accidental and unlikely source of light for the neighbourhood… ​​​​​​​​

Spreading Seeds with Grumpy Samy​

We’re asking our fans to start their own patch and become the light of their neighbourhood,
spreading seeds of good by planting their own. ​
On IG, we create a series of posts (3x) showing Uncle Samy giving out tips on how to be a plant-mum or plant-dad. Ranging from caring for one’s plant to the best way to repot a plant.​​​​​​​​
