For my Motion Media class I really wanted to work on an animation for my final project. Unfortunately I wasn't very familiar with any animation or editing programs, so I threw caution to the wind and made it up as I went along.
Honestly, I'd only made gifs with Adobe Photoshop, but I figured if I could do that, I could try animating on a bigger scale. I knew I wanted a kind of paper-cut out visual style, so the choppiness was pretty perfect. I painted everything in a mix of Photoshop and MyPaint, and the characters in sections-- like puppets.
