京剧脸谱，是一种具有汉族文化特色的特殊化妆方法。由于每个历史人物或某一种类型的人物都有一种大概的谱式，就像唱歌、奏乐都要按照乐谱一样，所以称为“脸谱”。关于脸谱的来源，一般的说法是来自假面具。京剧脸谱艺术是广大戏曲爱好者的非常喜爱的一门艺术，国内外都很流行，已经被大家公认为是汉族传统文化的标识之一。
我希望通过数字艺术的表现形式对其打破重塑，赋予它们新的形态与价值，帮助这项传统文化一直流传下去，让后人也能了解到中华文化的博大精深。
Beijing opera face painting is a special method of make-up with Chinese cultural characteristics. It is called "face painting" because each historical figure or type of character has a general style, just as singing and playing music follow a musical score. The origin of face painting is generally said to be from false masks. Beijing opera face painting is a very popular art among opera lovers, both at home and abroad, and has been recognised as one of the hallmarks of traditional Han Chinese culture.
I hope to break down and reinvent them through digital art expressions, giving them new forms and values, helping this traditional culture to continue to be passed on, so that future generations can also understand the profoundness of Chinese culture.
