I find my self equally as interested in CG materials as I am in the physical world, but there is something about having the ability to contort volumes like they are of clay creates interesting opportunities to visualize materials in new forms.
This study shifted into an aesthetic study, for which a subject was created to impose this logic of moldability, and conformity.
For the subject, I was inspired by neo futurist aesthetics that tend to be timeless. The subject retains a composed yet playful gesture, while still adorning figural jewelry that is certainly too impractical to wear.
