I designed the brand identity for a fictitious fashion event called "Kusama Castle”, organized by Louis Vuitton and celebrating the collaboration between the maison and the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.
The event takes place from June 15 to 18, 2023 in Castel del Monte (Puglia, Italy) and it will include: an installation inspired by Kusama’s artistic production, an exhibition presenting LV’s newest product collection and a fashion show.
Fashion and Art meet each other
Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama both have a great creative approach and strive for communication immediacy. This cooperation has allowed the maison not only to reiterate its place in the luxury market, but also to propose its products like as real works of art.
This is not just a simple cooperation between two brands, but it’s instead an important moment of reflection that focuses on the relationship between art, industrial production, marketing and fashion.
Support Art and Culture
Visibility granted by luxury fashion (initiatives such as Louis Vuitton Foundation and it exposition spaces) creates a stage where the audience gets to know and admire the works of a great example of contemporary art.
