UCSD South Gate Planning Study
Mark Cavagnero Associates Architects
Summer Internship, 2018
In collaboration with: Gehl, Spurlock Landscape Architects and ARUP
During an internship with Mark Cavagnero Associates Architects in 2018, I had the opportunity to create renders, diagrams, site plans, sections and assisted in documenting the 2018 South Gate Planning Study for UCSD. In addition to assisting with the publication of the study, I also attended client and consultant meetings and was tasked with completing red-line fixes for diagrams and the document layouts. The South Gate Planning Study focuses on creating a new gateway for the UCSD campus as well as providing connections to existing amenities in the nearby Theatre District and providing a substantial amount of new student housing with views to the ocean. The following pages are a small sample of my work which is featured throughout the 223 page, in-depth study of the campus.
