Shakespeare Birthplace Trust - Tumblr Website

To celebrate the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare’s birth, Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust (SBT) commissioned a website as a part of the ‘Shakespeare Lives Here’ campaign.

Tumblr
We chose tumblr due to its very clear intentions on content types 'Text | Photo | Quote | Link | Audio | Video' and the format of quick digestible content. Theming for tumblr is well documented and it is easily customised.

SVG Assets
Icons converted to an assets font so they can be easily scaled to any size without losing quality. They can be customised with colour for states such as hover and active.

Responsive
Using CSS media queries we can change the styling to fit the current viewport size be it Small screen (Mobile) or Medium screen (Tablets) through to Large screens (Desktop up)

Features
The website makes use of Masonry, which allows contact to arrange itself based on available screen width. The site also uses Disqus for users to add comments to any story.
